The University of Puthisastra (UP) has selected Harris Search Associates and IIC Partners firm RGC Search Thailand to lead the search for its next President. UP is a private university in Phnom Penh Cambodia that focuses on health sciences and technology. UP is committed to developing higher education in Cambodia and enabling its students to become the future leaders of Cambodia in healthcare and technology. UP was fully recognized by the Royal Government of Cambodia in 2007 with a belief that education is at the forefront of the development of any country; and the ability for a country to connect to other countries is even more vital to a country's development, as well the world's development. UP is founded on the belief that International involvement through exchange programs, scholarship programs, and other programs will further help UP to realize its vision and mission, on top of expanding the people's capacity to develop their community. Furthermore, UP will put more emphasis on developing an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset that will help us to establish an incubation center, which will help the economic development by identifying opportunities, locally and internationally.
Reporting to the Board Steering Committee, the President has overall strategic and operational responsibility for UP faculty and staff, programs, physical plant and facilities, performance, and execution of the mission.
The President provides day-to-day management of institutional priorities and is expected to be an entrepreneurial, visible, hands-on leader, committed to fostering fiscal and operational excellence. The President provides vision, leadership, and financial guidance that ensures the fiscal integrity, compliance, operational excellence, and growth of the institution while ensuring quality operations designed to meet the needs of faculty, staff, and students.
