Dr. Jaime Davidson, M.D.
Dr. Jaime Davidson serves as a senior advisory consultant to the Harris & Associates, an IIC Partners firm, team in the areas of academic medicine, research, clinical studies, and candidate assessment. Dr. Davidson has been the President of Endocrine and Diabetes Associates in Dallas, and served as the Clinical Associate Professor on Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.
Dr. Davidson has chaired the Diabetes Consensus Guidelines for the American College of Endocrinology and serves as Director of the Annual Intensive Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases Course for the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. He also served in higher education as a Regent for Midwestern State University, Texas and as a Committee Member of the National Academies.
In 2006 Dr. Davidson was distinguished by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists with an award for his contributions to the improvement of endocrine health for under-served populations, and by the American Diabetes Association with the Harold Rifkin MD award for his international contributions in the diabetes field. In the past, he has held positions with the National Diabetes Advisory Board, the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control, the Institute of Medicine, and the boards of directors of the American Diabetes Association, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the American College of Endocrinology.
He is a clinical trials pharmaceutical advisory board member to Bristol Myers Squibb, Eli Lilly, Merck, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, and Sanofi Aventis. He is a frequent lecturer in the areas of diabetes and epidemiology, has received a number of awards from both the American Medical Association and American Diabetes Association and has authored over 70 articles.
